Follow steps 1 through 12 of the Timing Belt Removal in section 6 of the appropriate model Service Manual. Secure the timing belt to both cam pulleys using wire ties. This will keep the timing belt in place while you replace the auto-tensioner (see the following illustration).Remove the timing belt auto-tensioner. Install the new auto-tensioner. Remove the pin from the auto-tensioner and the wire ties from the cam pulleys.

...unter Mechanikern.

Technisch korrekt wäre Nockenwellenscheibe (nicht Ritzel!!).
Scheibe ist es immer, wenn es sich um Zahnriemen handelt, Ritzel nennt man es bei Kettenantrieb.

...wobei man bei Arbeiten dieser Art sinnvollerweise den Zahnriemen und ggfs. die Wasserpumpe gleich mit wechselt, da man ohnehin alles auseinander hat...

neutral  Klaus Herrmann: Hmmm. Da müssen wir noch mal drüber zanken, ich fand das letztes Mal schon komisch mit dem Scheiben-und-Riemen-Weglassen. Ohne Riemen kann's genauso die Unterlegscheibe unter dem Ritzel (denkssu an Alfa-Motor) sein.
