T1 is a telephonline-standard used by Bell Systems in US Explanation: T1 standard means 1,54 Mbits/s. Interwork I´m not sure, but together with a T1 it could be a "Kabelanschluss". Sorry I can´t help you more. |

Netzanbindungskabel oder T1 Explanation: interworking = Anbindung von Netzen oder Übergang (v. Renouard, Neue Informations- und Datenkommunikationsdienste); Ferretti, Dictionary of Electronics, Computing and Telecommunications gives Netzanpassungsgerät for "interworking unit". A synonym would be gateway. Lipinski, Lexikon der Datenkommunikation does not list interwork in V.7.0, but V.8.0 is out and available on the net (see URL below). T1 is a high speed connection. T1-Leitung und Internetwork-Kabel Explanation: Bei einer T1-Leitung handelt es sich um eine 1,5 MBit/s schnelle Leitung, um ein Intranet oder den/die Server eines Providers an das Internet anzukoppeln. T1-Leitungen sind heute die "langsamsten" professionellen Verbindungen. Ein Internetwork-Kabel ist ein Kabel, um mehrere kleiner Netze (LANs) in einem WAN zu verbinden. Ich persönlich würde den Begriff nicht übersetzen, da Internetwork und Internetworking mittlerweile Standardbegriffe in der Netztechnologie sind.
