Greifheber Explanation: The english text implies that this item is an own invention which combines the functions of "gripping" ("greifen") with a tool for lifting ie. a jack ("Heber" as in "Wagenheber"). To combine these two functions in German I would construct the word "Greifheber" rather than use the various suggestions of "Greifzange" or "Spannbuchse" which are already specifically associated with existing tools (plumberĀ“s wrench and a machine-tool part respectively) |
