"A typical PBX has two types of external ports that can be used to find out what is going on inside the PBX: a programming port and an *event port*. The programming port is how the exchange is programmed. It allows information to be put into the PBX and to be extracted from the PBX. The *event port* shows what events have occurred and, with some sophisticated software, what is currently happening."

| Grading comment Ich habe mich für Event-Schnittstelle entschieden, da ich das Wort "Port" im Deutschen nur für den gleichnamigen Wein mag únd dies im späteren Dokument am Besten passt. So gerne ich ein rein deutsches Wort nehmen würde, hat mich Ereigniskanal doch nicht überzeugt und Kanal gibt meiner Meinung nach auch den falschen Eindruck.
Trotzdem vielen Dank an alle, ihr wart eine große Hilfe!
