Schon klar, der Spieler taucht da völlig drin ab, ist völlig versunken.... aber wie sag ich das mit einem hübschen Adjektiv? Oder auch anders?

"Intensiv" trifft es m.E. nicht recht.

Never heard of "immersive" before! The word "vertieft" springs to mind in German, but this may sound equally stupid to German ears, but I'm sure my esteemed colleagues will let me know if it does :-)

Das ist das einzige Adjektiv, das mir dazu einfällt. Da stimmt jedenfalls schon einmal die "Richtung".
