English to German translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Telecom(munications) / IP telephony systems | | English term or phrase: Hunt Group | I found various definitions on the internet, for example: A series of telephone lines organized in such a way that if the first line is busy the next line is hunted and so on until a free line is found.
I've also got access to the English and German website of the hardware manufacturer and found "call hunt group" in a list of features as "Suche nach erreichbarem Gesprächspartner", which works fine in the body text but not for option names such as "Add hunt group".
Can someone tell me what the technical term for this is in German? TIA! |

| | Sammelanschluss | Explanation: A "hunt group" is called a "Sammelanschluss" in the following pdf file:
http://www-vs.informatik.uni-ulm.de/teach/ss05/rn2/docs/RN2_...'hunt%20group%20verbindung'
It decribes a call routing system that is in place when somebody calls a number and that number is busy or not answering. Many extensions/numbers can be connected together (zusammengeschlossen in einer Sammlung von Anschlüssen (connections/extensions)
I also added another link below that describes, in English, what a hunt group is.
"Sammelanschluss hinzufügen" wäre dann die Phrase.
NOte the two s's for the new German spelling rules.
Hope this helps.
