Beacon = Sonde. In diesem Fall ist der Adapter die Sonde.

ES gibt einfach zuviele Bsp. aus Verkehrsinformationstechnik, DASA, die alle so dicht vernezt wurden, heisst Beacon einfach Sonde auf deutsch. Der Begriff Sonde war schon vor dem II.Weltkrieg oder gar davor schon bekannt. Im Produktbereich sind Firmen wie Intel, Siemens und sonstige die bekanntesten Resourcen.

  -> Beacon bedeutet Sonde auf DE. Man kann auch Beacon lassen. Das ist lediglich eine Alternative.
