Tech/Engineering - Telecom(munications) / VoiP related
English term or phrase: DTMF payload
This is a label on the win32 application setting UI, next to a text box.
Essentially the phrase is VOIP-specific and means that using that field on our phone UI, a user can override some integer value, which tags VOIP packets, carrying information about phone keys pressed.

One suggestion was
"Überschreiben Sie die DTMF Nutzlast" (Nutzlast sounds weird to me)
another one was
"Überschreiben des DTMF-Nutzsignals" which is the one I favor.

Can you tell me which one would be the better one in this context? Or a different one?

Thank you very much in advance!

DTMF-Nutzlast
Explanation:
I agree, it sounds a bit weird, but it's in the official RFC2833 Standard German translation so I'd prolly stick with it.

I've asked around some more, and decided on DTMF-Nutzdaten - it seems more appropriate in my context. Thank you!
