Judging from your time period and this article, could there be two terms for the same thing? If so the German "Unterbrustkorsett" might work. After all, a "sheathing" is a cover, "Hülle", which a longline corset would have represented.

My title did not post correctly, it should read : "Maybe *sheath corset* and *longline corset* are the same thing"
Example sentence(s):- The corset reached its longest length in the early 20th century. The longline corset at first reached from the bust down to the upper thigh. There was also a style of longline corset that started under the bust, and necessitated the wearing of a brasserie
