English to German translations [PRO]
Tourism & Travel / Shopping
English term or phrase: quirky
Proofing an English-German translation, what do you think of
"eigentuemlich-skurrilen Outlets" for "individual quirky outlets"? The whole sentence is: "There are plenty of other shopping opportunities in town from major national chains, indoor arcades and individual quirky outlets."

I would say something more like "bis zu individuellen, schrulligen Outlets".

WDYT?

"Skurril" seems wrong to me.

for the older generation - always assuming that "old" is always at least 10 years older than I am.
