Thanks for the note! The CITIWAY cars are being "eingestellt und gesichert, that is, "parked and secured" but not "setting and locking". Judging by the overall quality of the English, it appears as if this writer was a native speaker—of some other language.

By the way, the units of rolling stock (the cars of whatever kind) parked in the depot are not "hosted" but "accommodated". Are these cars trams (on rails) or buses (on tires)? Judging by the name of the TRAMBUS company, they can be anything. CITIWAY, however, reminds me of the Alstom/Fiat product (made in Rome), which are trams.

So, that part should read something like"... is designed to accommodate more than 80 low-floor CITIWAY cars with a length of 35 metres/meters, (which are) operated by... "

Come to think of it, this still does not explain the "setting and locking of depot routes." Going back to the "control system"(Steuersystem/ Kontrollsystem/ Sicherheitssystem?) that itself is "microprocessor-controlled", how does all of this relate to the elusive "depot routes"?

Since the depot is fixed to its plot of real estate, it won't go on a trip and therefore won't have to follow a route. What's left are the routes (tracks?) entering the depot. Are the gates to the parking tracks secured by means of this system?

Notes to answerer
Asker: Davor steht: The depot is designed to host more than 80 low floor, 35 meter in length, CITIWAY cars, operated by local transport company TRAMBUS. “Centro Carni” is then the newest Rome installation and will definitely assure a faster and efficient feeding of tram network.
