Hi Monica: here is a case where I would absolutely insist on a photograph. Or some other form of clarification - if necessary, add both birds, and let the customer hang himself, by adding an appropriate note as below. As you rightly say, there "ain't no such animal (or bird!!!)! as a "red eagle", so it's most likely to be some stupid townie publicity agent sitting in Glasgow (London?) mixing up the "Red Kite" with the "Golden Eagle" (or White-tailed Eagle"). |
