No. The main product is some sort of φίλτρο (filter) or ακροφύσιο (nozzle). The 'housing' does what the word says...it is the 'house', the outer part that the filter or nozzle is inside. It covers the nozzle visually, but isn't an essential feature.

What puzzles me is why they name them "housings". Doesn't the English site show the inner part? The German version says "innerteil", that should be something like "insert" (litteraly "inner part) in English. The picture of the first product of the Greek site shows the same item, as I see it and says you can purchase it along with its housing or not. Would I be right to call it "φίλτρο" or am I in the wrong direction here? Thank you all for your help!

I agree with Dave. You could also say ''προστατευτικό περίβλημα'' or ''κάλυμμα'' or ''πώμα''. The picture is named ''water saver_tap_ico'', I don't know if that helps...

The English site says the products are available with or without housings, the Greek site says that they're available με ή χωρίς κέλυφος. Housing = outer shell = κέλυφος
