Some bonds in the fund are the highest quality in the scale (according to Moody's) whilst some are at the bottom of the scale (junk bonds). So a client would want to know the "distribution of quality" of underlying bond investment in the portfolio to assess how risky his investment into the portfolio/fund might be - hence the shorthand label: "Quality distribution" |
