English to Greek translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Geography / Geographical Names | | English term or phrase: Bornova (a part of modern Izmir/Σμύρνη) | Greetings,
I realise, of course, that Izmir's original names was Σμύρνη.
Bornova is a district within Izmir. I know that it was also once known as Bournabat, which may or may not be closer to the Greek name.
Best wishes,
Simon |
