Μία από τις στοές της Αγοράς της αρχαίας Αθήνας. Ονομάστηκε Ποικίλη, γιατί κοσμήθηκε με ζωγραφικούς πίνακες. Οι πίνακες αυτοί παρίσταναν μυθολογικές σκηνές (ο Θησέας εναντίον των Αμαζόνων, η άλωση της Τροίας κ.λ.π.) και θέματα ιστορικά (η μάχη του Μαραθώνα κ.ά.). Οι θαυμάσιοι αυτοί πίνακες μεταφέρθηκαν αργότερα στη Ρώμη. Η Π.Σ. ήταν η στοά που έδωσε το όνομά της στους στωικούς φιλοσόφους, οι οποίοι περνούσαν όλη την ημέρα τους σ` αυτήν και φιλοσοφούσαν. Σ` αυτή δίδαξε και ο φιλόσοφος Ζήνωνας ο Κιτιέας.
