Στην γλώσσα τού ελληνικού Κώδικα Πολιτικής Δικονομίας (άρθρο 321) αναφερόμεθα στην απόφαση και λέγομε ότι «η απόφαση αποτελεί δεδικασμένο». Οι αγγλοσάξονες δικηγόροι έχουν λίγο διαφορετική προσέγγιση: αναφέρονται στην αγωγή (action) (υπό τήν έννοια τής ουσιαστικής ή νομικής βάσεως αυτής, cause of action) και λέγουν ότι «η αγωγή μετατρέπεται σε δεδικασμένο» (transit in rem judicatam, τό οποίο χρησιμοποιείται ρηματικά). Καλά θα ήταν όμως να είχατε και λίγα συμφραζόμενο με τήν ορολογία που θέλετε να ερμηνεύσομε.
