Δεν νομίζω ότι το ζητούμενο είναι να βρεις λέξεις που να αποδίδουν ηχητικά το όνομα του Felberbaum στα Ελληνικά KAI παράλληλα να συνδέονται με κάποιο χαρακτηριστικό του προσώπου του ή άλλο....σουούμι.
Δεν είναι εξάλλου δικό σου το παράδειγμα, αλλά του συγγραφέα του άρθρου. Μπορείς να το κρατήσεις όπως είναι και να εξηγήσεις με μεταγραφή την ηχητική σύνδεση και το συνειρμό (ηχική - οπτική σύνδεση -χαρακτηριστικό γνώρισμα του προσώπου. Επιστημονικό (έστω και pop)άθρο είναι εξάλλου, όσες σημειώσεις μεταφραστού θες, βάζεις.

A clarification: Η εύρεση των λέξεων είναι το ζητούμενο για τον συγγραφέα, ψυχολόγο,ειδικό και κατ'επέκταση τον αναγνώστη, στο επίπεδο του συνειρμού. Όχι το ζητούμενο για τον ---μεταφραστή---. Εκτός αν ο μεταφραστής συνεργάζεται με τον επιστήμονα, ειδικό (a mnemonics expert in Felberbaum's case) και του έχει ζητηθεί να αποδώσει σχετικά παραδείγματα και αναλογίες. Σε τέτοια περίπτωση θα βρεθεί κατάλληλο όνομα (δεν νομίζω en anglais), κατάλληλο χαρακτηριστικό προσώπου και κατάλληλες λέξεις.
