English term or phrase: imago
"What huge imago made
A psychopathic god"
It is from the poem of W.H.Auden
"1 September 1939".
The term has a Latin origin and was coined by C.Yung, I think. I have found the Greek term "μορφοείδωλο". Could anyone propose something else even periphrastic?
