Συμφωνώ με την Ellen ως προς τη ''διάθεση'', όχι όμως και ως προς την ''απαλλοτρίωση με πώληση'', γιατί θεωρώ ότι αυτή εμπεριέχεται στο ''sell''. Το ίδιο ισχύει και για τη ''μεταβίβαση'' και ''εκποίηση''. Το διαξευκτικό ''or'' σημαίνει ότι τα δύο ρήματα έχουν κοντινό, αλλά όχι ίδιο νόημα.
Η δική μου μετάφραση θα ήταν ''Μπορεί να υποστηριχτεί ότι η εξουσία της πώλησης (μεταβίβασης) ή (με οποιονδήποτε τρόπο) διάθεσης (του πράγματος) είναι...''
Επίσης να συμπληρώσω ότι τα sell και alienate δεν έχουν ως αντικείμενο την κυριότητα, αλλά το πράγμα πάνω στο οποίο υπάρχει κυριότητα.
