Εν συνεχεία των κλοτσημάτων υπάρχουν τρία κλοτσήματα:- Punt kick, Drop kick, Place kick και παραθέτω:
The punt is an important skill every kicker should master.
It is a crucial part of attack and defence.
It is very important to make a good, long touch kick if the opposition have given away a penalty.
Usually the fly-half, scrum-half and full-back take most of the punt kicks.
However, if a forward calls the mark inside their own 22-metre line, they're usually expected to clear their lines by booting the ball into touch.
So no matter what position you play, it is worth having a go practising the punt kick.
Απ'ότι κατάλαβα, το punt είναι σουτ στον αέρα πίσω στην άμυνα και το punt return η επόμενη κίνηση που ακολουθεί. Προτιμώ σουτ/προώθηση από κλότσημα (sorry!) αλλά ποιός είναι ο όρος που χρησιμοποιούν οι σπορτκάστερ στην Ελλάδα;

Explanation: When a team is not likely to gain 10 yards in four downs, it often kicks, or punts, the ball downfield, usually on the fourth down. After each down, before resuming play, the opposing teams face each other along an imaginary line, called the line of scrimmage, determined by the position of the ball relative to the goals. Among standard offensive formations, the basic T formation (a balanced line with the quarterback behind the center and the other backs behind the quarterback) is, with modern variations, the most popular in both amateur and professional football. Blocking and tackling make football one of the most rugged sports played; thus players wear heavy protective gear. http://www.answers.com/topic/football?nr=1&lsc=true
