English term or phrase: Something else has come up
Please note that this is a guess from my previous question (biju kem) Koi biju oopar avyu hatu <-- is that how you say it?
Goldenstat
kaik biju kam avi chadhyu che
Explanation:
In English we do not have to specify what 'else' is, though in Gujarati if we refer to 'something' we usually define it to be some 'work' as in the present context.

Koi biju oopar avyu hatu would translate to - Someone else had come upstairs. You might notice here that 'oopar' here may mean upstairs and not just up.

avi chadhyu che - the second part of the target term is a phrase which describes 'come up'. Now here the word 'chadhyu' literally means 'climb' but then all languages have their own peculiarities. Don't they?

kaik or koi biju kaam avi gayu

Explanation:
you may say koi or kaik biju kaam avi gayu meaning something else has come up.

this basically refers to some work.
In biju kem -kem means why. whereas kaam refers to work.
kem sounds like 'cam' in 'camp' and 'kaam' sounds like 'calm' where 'L' is silent.
