An idiomatic equivalent is difficult to find. I thought of "લાંબા થવું" but that as an idiom has a totally different meaning. The non-idiomatic use (eg, અહીં સુધી લાંબા થવાની જરૂર નથી) is also not appropriate here as it is to do with "distance" and cannot fit here.

going the extra mile
Need context

Explanation:
Doing more than what is being asked of you.
If someone asks you to help or assist than you do more than what they ask - another words you are being extra helpful.
To try harder to please someone or to get the job done correctly; to do more than one is required to do to reach a goal.

ETYMOLOGICAL BACKGROUND:
The term has its roots from the Bible at Matthew 5:41. You can check that in the Gujarati edition of the Bible. In that time the law allowed a Roman soldier to make a person carry his back pack for a Roman mile, or a thousand paces. That distance is about 1.48 kilometers (1620 yards). No one liked being forced to carry anything any distance for a Roman soldier. Jesus said if they were required to carry it a mile, then carry it two miles. That is how we get the phrase, "go the extra mile." It means we should go beyond what is expected of us in helping others.

OPTIONS:
If the context is discussing the above history then you may use literal translation.

However if not then for understandability, it may be better option to use the meaning rather than word for word translation unless author has made a specific request.

There are some Gujarati equivalents: For example people say હું તમને અડધી રાત્રે પણ મદદ કરીશ. or ઉભે પગે મદદ કરવા તૈયાર હોય છે
