English to Haitian-Creole translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase: Happy Birthday
I have a friend from Haiti who is having a birthday tomorrow and I'd like to know how to say "Happy Birthday" in Haitian Creole.

"bòn anivèsè" or "bòn fèt"

Explanation:
The use of "é" in Haitian Creole is not recognize as part of the official orthography for the language. In Haitian Creole "e" is pronounced as the French "é" or Spanish "e". In addition the word "zanivèsè" is not Haitian Creole, but is used elsewhere in the French Carribean.

Glad to help!
