This is some explanation I found, and hence my answer:
"פרופסור ג´יימס וומאק פיתח שיטת מיפוי לגנום השלם של בקר המבוססת על שבירת מקטעי דנ´´א בקר באמצעות קרינה ואיחוי מקטעי הבקר לגרעין תאי אוגר (Radiation hybrid = RH). פיתוח זה היווה פריצת דרך חשובה בגנומיקה של בקר ובמיפוי השוואתי של גנים. מיפוי בשיטת הRH- הפך כלי יעיל ביותר לבניית מפות סדורות של רצפים שמורים הנובעים מגנים, ועל ידי כך שילוב של מפות פיזיות ומפות תאחיזה (Linkage) של כרומוזומים מיונקים. לאחרונה, הושלמה מפה השוואתית של גנום בקר-אדם, על בסיס מיפוי בשיטת הRH-, ותהיה לה חשיבות מכרעת בניתוח תכונות רב-גניות ובאפיון אתרים בעלי חשיבות חקלאית".
