Explanation:
this is spoken by a man. I like the city of Riyadh.
In Hebrew you must use the prefix את.

I only now saw your question. It is wrong to say אני אוהב את עיר ריאד.
You can say: אני אוהב את ריאד' but then anyone not familiar with the city name, may think it's a person's name. So, I suggest you stick with my original answer.
