Asker: Thank you Tzviya.
(I'm writing in English to avoid RTL-LTR issues...). Before posting I found your suggestion in a previous Proz question, also in marketing, and I need to know if this is what is used in Medical lingo. I found that often it is simply transliterated to אקספלורטורי, which doesn't really work in my opinion. Other than גישוש, do you think מחקרי OR חקרני works?
