English term or phrase: outcome event

Reporting outcome events by treatment group during the trial (by anyone except the DMC) potentially jeopardizes the integrity of the trial.

I can't find an actual definition anywhere but if I understand correctly what it means is that those event signify a certain outcome in the trial, in other words if a certain outcome event occurs it will give a certain value to a certain endpoint... Or something like that.

Asker: I must disagree with all of you... תוצא is an effect rather than a result. The difference between result and outcome is that an outcome is final, it's the overall result of something, the way it is concluded - תוצאה סופית?

Asker: And anyway this is not a new concept so there must be something in Hebrew that covers or replaces it, which _WILL_ appear in Google...
