hainas'ee lee? Ken! -התנשאי לי? כן! Explanation: Sorry about the punctuation marks - they should be on the left of the sentences in Hebrew, not on the right. That's because Hebrew is written from right to left, but it's not possible to put them there here on the Proz site. In any case: התנשאי - hatinas'ee - will you marry, spoken to a female (for a male it would be hatinas'eh) lee - me, literally "to me" because that's how it is in Hebrew. Ken - כן - yes. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-03-15 16:33:41 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- There are other possibilities, such as ha\'im tinas\'ee lee and ha\'im titkhatnee iti -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-03-15 16:44:45 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ooops - my original answer should have been \"tatinas\'ee lee\" |
