English term or phrase: Term for children of a Gentile turned Jewish
Is there a special term for the children who are born of a gentile woman who became Jewish and married a Jewish man? (I'm thinking because the lineage is not 100% Jewish that there may be a special term for these children.)

Hebrew translation:no specific term
Explanation:
There is no special term for children born to a convert. They are considered jewish as any other Jew. However, children of converts are not allowed to marry a Cohen ( I think, up to the fifth generation after conversion). If the women is pregnant during the conversion but converts before the child is born, this child is considered jewish. All other children born before conversion may convert together with the mother but are asked at age 12 (girls)/13(boys) if they want to be jewish to complete the conversion. These children would be called ger (boy)/gioret(girl).

Cohen is a family name (and comes in several variations like Cohen, Kohn, Cahen etc.). Cohen's are descendant of Aaron, Moses brother. Cohens are meant to serve in the temple, therefore they have to be "pure" and are not allowed to marry converted or divorced women.

Thanks, but I'm still a bit confused. What does Cohen mean?

neutral  sibsab: this would only be true, if the woman converted to Judaism after the children were born. If they are born after the conversion, they are not gerim. They are as jewish as anyone else, except when they want to marry a Cohen.
