English term or phrase: I love you
I'd like to know the translation of this phrase spoken or written by a female to a male. If there is a difference in meaning, I'd like to know both the "friendly" love and the "romantic" love translation. Thank you

Explanation:
ani ohev otach / ani ohevet otcha

ani ohev otach אני אוהב אותך
a man saying "I love you to a woman".

when a woman says it to a man it is:
ani ohevet otcha אני אוהבת אותך

woman to woman would be ani ohevet otach and man to man would be ani ohev otcha.

plural: ani ohev etchem / etchen (man to men / women) or: ani ohevet etchem / etchen (woman to men / women)

We love you:

Anu ohavim/ohavot otcha/otachetchem/etchen

we male/female love you man/woam/men/women

  -> Thanks a lot, Sogifted! :-)

disagree  Eynat: Do you actually speak ANY Hebrew, or do you simply trawl the board and copy other people's answers?

  -> What is wrong with saying "Please use KudoZ search"? "I love you" questions flood most language directions. So, IMO somebody should remind it.

disagree  Suzan: That's pretty much it. A cut and paste job.
