A type of a sword-like weapon of space warriors.

Looks like a light sabre.

BTW, להב-ברק isn't bad although (for me) it brings to mind several cartoon movies (Bolt, 101 Dalmations...)

I know it resembles the light-sabre.. I commented about that in the question.
I'm still trying to find an alternative - something to differentiate it from the light-sabre, and perhaps relate to that double-meaning "WARP" - and be catchy too...

Challenging. May the force be with me! :-)

It sounds a lot like the Lightsaber (translated to חרב-אור) from Star Wars.

I saw images that render it unlikely that "warp" refers to a bent shape (quite straight...), and anyway - that should have been "warped".
Properties - Very powerfull, glows and cuts like a laser beam or light-sabre... that's it, really.
A tricky notion - this warp thing in Sci-Fi...

Could you provide some more context? for example, what is the function of this blade (just a "simple" blade or does it has any special features from which the warp part of the name derived?). Is it bent in some way (I thought of להב מעוקל but I don't know it is bent at all).
