This is the term irrespective of whether the woman is converting "because she is marrying a Jewish man". In fact, at least within Orthodox and Conservative Judaism, if marriage is the motivation, the conversion typically would take place prior to the wedding so that the couple could have some form of traditional Jewish wedding. |
