सीडैक द्वारा तैयार किए गए शब्दिका ग्लोसरी में स्कोप के लिए विस्तार दिया गया है। कामिल बुल्के के शब्दो कोष में भी यही शब्द दिया है। पर यही शब्द एक्सटेंट के लिए भी चलेगा। कामिल बुल्के में स्कोप के लिए व्याप्ति भी है।

मेरे विचार से स्कोप को हिंदी में भी स्कोप ही लिखना चाहिए। कंप्यूटर से परिचित लोग इस अर्थ को समझ लेंगे। वैसे दायरा शब्द भी ठीक लग रहा है।
