Animation is a gift of modern world. It is cartoon with motion. Cartoon or व्यंग्यचित्र is known in India from the past. But 'animation' is not. So we can retain the word as एनिमेशन. But if we take hindi terms, we can say it सजीव चित्र or सजीव व्यंग्यचित्र.
