keshab: Your logic is right but here we discuss languages which defines male dominance as "Patriarchy"and we can translate originally the word as "पितृतन्त्र ".isn't it?

-> Thanks for the response Sir but I didn't understand the point you wish to bring forward. Instead of just lifting the meaning from a dictionary, I tried to give a more lucid equivalent to ''Patriarchy' which has conveyed the sense of Purush Varchasvata
