English to Hindi translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Human Resources / Human Resources | | English term or phrase: Ergonomics | I request experts to kindly provide a popular and well-accepted term used in Hindi for ERGONOMICS, please.
TIA |
| | | Shramdakshtaashaastra | Explanation: Ergonomics is the study of workplace equipment design or how to arrange and design devices, machines, or workspace so that people and things interact safely and most efficiently. Also called human factors analysis or human factors engineering.
Since Ergonomics is a technical term which is perhaps very rarely used, we have not probably got a popular equivalent for the same.
Hope this helps.

I am giving break-up of the term for your convenience:
Shram = Labour/Workmen/Employees
Dakshtaa = Efficiency/Expertise
Shaastra = Study (here)
Hope these details might help somewhat to simplify this complicated and typical term.
