पाउंड प्रति इंच, न्यूटन प्रति मीटर सही नहीं है। Torque = Force × Distance से इंच पाउंड या न्यूटन मीटर इकाई प्राप्त होती है।

Here I am not saying that blast is different, I am saying about followed pratice, you may have seen a plug cleaning machine, that uses sand with air, but here in the given context there is no mention of air at all. Then one more logical question, why forced air blasting is not recommended? Spark Plug is a very rough and tough part, which is exposed to thousands of degree temp. in combustion chamber, it is not a delicate part. Now why not sand blasting, this needs to be verified. First reason, possibility of sanding of electrodes, which may reduce sharpness of its edges, which may reduce the spark quality. Apart from this ingress of sand through spark plug inside the engine may have abrasive effect. Of course you also look at google for any other reason. I too will know something latest. I am unable to search at the moment, but shall try to be more informed. regards, Arun

भारत हो या बाहर ब्लास्ट क्लीन का सिद्धांत एक ही है। सरलीकरण करें तो अपघर्षण (corrasion) की तरह इसमें सफ़ाई होती है। कणों की तेज बौछार पड़ती है और इस बलाघात से या रगड़ से कचड़ा हटता चलता है। मुझे बौछार शब्द सटीक लगा। जैसे गोलियों की बौछार में वेग व शक्ति दोनों बातें हैं, उसी तरह यहां भी अपघर्षक कणों की बौछार हो रही है। ... पाउंड/इंच या न्यूटन/मी. के स्थान पर यहां पाउंड इंच या न्यूटन मी. का प्रयोग होगा। "/" का प्रयोग अर्थ बदल देगा।

अरुणजी , अगर अनुवाद हिन्दी में हो रहा है तो ब्लास्ट क्लीन को तेज हवा के दबाव के संदर्भ में लिया जाना उचित है(जैसा कि आप स्वयं कह रहे हैं- भारतीय संदर्भ में), इसीलिये इस भाषा युग्म में इसे उचित मानने में मुझे कोई हर्ज दिखता नहीं है, हाँ आम बोलचाल के लिहाज से मैने उसे 'ब्लास्ट क्लीन' लिया है।

Please note, "at this point", you are correct, but in Indian context only, here blast term is different and you are mentioning about air blowing or cleaning. Please do note there is no mention of "Air". You assumed that it is air. Can discuss further, after all we should enhance our knowledge.
