A small drum is called ढोलकी
ढोल, ढोलक या ढोलकी भारतीय वाद्य-यंत्र है। ये हाथ या छडी से बजाए जाने वाले छोटे नगाड़े हैं जो मुख्य रूप से लोक संगीत या भक्ति संगीत को ताल देने के काम आते हैं। होली के गीतो में ढोलक का जमकर प्रयोग होता है। ढोलक और ढोलकी को अधिकतर हाथ से बजाया जाता है जबकि ढोल को अलग अलग तरह की छड़ियों से। ढोलक आम, बीजा, शीशम, सागौन या नीम की लकड़ी से बनाई जाती है। लकड़ी को पोला करके दोनों मुखों पर बकरे की खाल डोरियों से कसी रहती है। डोरी में छल्ले रहते हैं, जो ढोलक का स्वर मिलाने में काम आते हैं। यह गायन व नृत्य के साथ बजायी जाती है। यह एक प्रमुख ताल वाद्य है।
