English to Hindi translations [PRO] Other / history | | English term or phrase: The snake is naked. | Hi,
I've really devised this sentence to enable myself to distinguish two words which I am in danger of confusing in Hindi: naked and snake.
The strange thing is that there seems to be no problem in Sanskrit: नग्न nagna = naked and नागः nāgaḥ = snake.
Many thanks,
Simon |

When someone is naked, unclothed, there is no hiding. That person's "self" is laid bare for all to see. This is the true meaning of this sentence.
