What is the MaRS?
The RGU: Master Retention Schedule (MaRS) is an essential element of the University's Records Management Strategy. It is a control document which sets out the recommended mimimum amount of time that the University needs to keep its records. The MaRS applies to all records irrespective of the format in which they are maintained or the media upon which they are held, for example records held on paper; electronically including emails and databases; on microfilm and on any other storage media.

A master mint "fő" szerintem egy teljesen elfogadott és használt kifejezés. A törzs szóval nagyon rosszul hangzik az ütemterv.
Törzsütemterv?
Inkább akkor iratmegőrzési vezér ütemterv.
Vezér terv például létezik ..
De én ennek ellenére valószínű maradnék a fő szónál.

Asker: Magam is az "ütemterv" kifejezést tartom a legjobbnak, a "master" viszont eléggé nehézkes, ezt nem tudom igazán jól megfogni (soha...) -- mert ez valamilyen alapvetés vagy referencia-jellegű dolog lenne. A "fő" végülis majdnem jó, de valamilyen frappánsabb megoldáson törném az agyam... (pl. mint a "master data" esetében a "törzsadatok")
Asker: A "törzs"-öt én is csak példaként említettem, de az "ütemtervvel" valóban a "fő" hangzik a legjobban (bár a "vezér" ötlet nagyon tetszik, lehet, hogy máshol élek majd vele!)
