The problem is that following: Neither in English nor in Hungarian these terms do not appear the way as you wrote "Pensky-Martens closed cup// Cleveland open cup". They are either connected with the name of these methods such as "PMCC: Pensky-Martens closed cup method// COC: Cleveland open cup method" or they mean the device "PMCC: Pensky-Martens closed cup tester// COC: Cleveland open cup tester". This answer looks perfect if we don't care about the meaning of these terms:
PMCC: Pensky-Martens zárt tégely // COC: Cleveland nyitott tégely
Because there is no such device as "
PMCC: Pensky-Martens closed cup // COC: Cleveland open cup but there are
PMCC: Pensky-Martens closed cup tester // COC: Cleveland open cup tester.

Dear Creativity, first of all, thank you for your help! :)
As I explained in my question - these two items (acronyms) appeared as such - two separate, non-contextual items. We found these to be acronyms in English, yet their respective HU translation is needed. I wish I could say more, but ... I realize that 'Pensky-Martens' as well as 'Cleveland' should stay unchanged, so it's only for the remaining terms to be translated. :)

Are you sure you meant "Pensky-Martens closed cup" and not the whole device? It's very likely that you meant this whole device: http://www.biofueltesting.com/product.asp?ID=3639&bShowDetai... If you need this whole device: "Pensky-Martens closed cup tester" then you need to use a different Hungarian term.
