The programme foresees a continuation of the front-loaded consolidation strategy, with another important adjustment in 2009 to 2,6 % of GDP, and followed by a more moderate adjustment path towards a budget deficit of 2,2 % of GDP by 2011. However, this deficit reduction path is subject to risks, especially since the macro-economic assumptions underlying the programme have in the meantime become markedly favourable.
A program az időszak elejére hozott konszolidációs stratégia folytatását tervezi, 2009-ben újabb fontos kiigazítással a GDP 2,6 %-át jelentő költségvetési hiány elérése céljából, amelyet aztán 2011-ig a GDP 2,2 %-át jelentő költségvetési hiány felé tartó mérsékeltebb kiigazítási pálya követ.
