Az AP jelentése Advanced Placement. Ez azt jelenti, hogy például egy középiskolás, mondjuk 3. vagy 4. évfolyamos, tanulhat bizonyos tárgyakat a saját osztálya szerinti szinttől magasabb, akár főiskolai/egyetemi szinten (mert az előzetes követelményeket teljesítette). Ha utána továbbtanul, az így szerzett jegyeket sok főiskola/egyetem elismeri (ad érte kreditet) és akkor azokat a tantárgyakat nem kell tanulnia, illetve továbbléphet a következő szintre.

Nagyon köszönöm, az "előrehozott" szerintem nagyon passzol. Végül megtartottam az AP-t (mert a szövegben máshol összetételben többször úgy is szerepel) és utána zárójeleztem, hogy (előrehozott felsőfokú).
