English to Hungarian translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / Maintenance manual
English term or phrase: CAUTION vs. WARNING
A fenti kifejezések címként jelennek meg egy karbantartási útmutatóban. Számomra mindkettő a figyelmeztetés/figyelem! jelentést hordozza, de valahogyan meg kellene őket különböztetni.
Pl:
Warning: Have the battery activated by staff prepared with the appropriate tools.
Caution: Do not disconnect the battery when the generator is running.

caution vs. warning
figyelmesen / figyelmeztetés

Explanation:
A magyar nyelvben nincsenek pontos fogalmak erre. A caution: legyen figyelmes, óvatos, stb. A warning: figyelem, veszély, stb. Ez sokkal nyomatékosabb
