Ezt találtam:
A Charter form of government allows the elected representatives of the people to govern with more flexibility creating a more open, progressive county government. It distributes power similar to state and federal government structures. Administrative control would go to a county executive, while legislative control would go to a county council. Now, the County Commissioners hold both legislative and administrative control and administration is complicated by the fact that there are three people who need to agree on an action.

agree  Ildiko Santana: US megyei önkormányzatok 3 formája: Code Home Rule, Commissioner, Charter. Szerintem a "megyei" szót érdemes beszúrni, sőt talán még azt is, hogy (US), mert ezek nélkül nem minden magyar olvasó számára lesz egyértelmű, hogy US önk.i szerk.-ről van szó.
