A stake wire az a drót, amellyel a különálló rugókat összekötik, így erősítve az egész rugózatot, és megakadályozva, hogy egy része besüppedjen.
Szerintem itt az egész rugózatról van szó, nem csak magáról az acéldrótról, amivel az összefűzést végzik.
