English to Hungarian translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) / production of bricks | | English term or phrase: wet clay | This is a clay which originates in the Alps and sediments along the rivers in the Netherlands and used by the ceramic industry (so it is not wet in a way like water is added to it). I would like to know the Hungarian term, if exists.
Thanks for any answers. |

Dear Helga,
Your original request was to receive the translation of "wet clay". You wrote in your question:
"I would like to know the Hungarian term, if exists. Thanks for any answers."
The clay which was made wet can be called moistened clay for example. See:
Example for clay with added water:
http://lejpt.academicdirect.org/A11/123_130.htm
"The grinded sample was poured into a plastic basin and moistened with about 396ml of water added to the point of wedging (which is the state whereby moistened clay material remained packed into a ball-in-hand until intentional vibration causes the mixture to flow). "
Example for wet clay:

dry sand."

Természetesen ugyanúgy a magyarban is különbséget lehet tenni: nedves agyag kontra nedvesített agyag
http://www.wienerberger.hu/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Wiener...
A kellőképpen finomra őrölt, homogén és nedvesített agyagot azután formára préselik és vágják.
