Először a terrakottára/grsere gondoltam, viszont az anyaga nem kerámia. A téglát is anyagból készítik, és pontosan így készítik ezt a padlólapot is. A klinkertégla a lényege.

A klinker padlólapok ragasztása
A padlóburkoló klinkerlapok flexibilis hidegburkolati ragasztóval, vékonyágyazatos technológiával ragasztandók. Ajánljuk és forgal-mazzuk az ARDEX X7G ragasztót.
* Bizonytalan felületminőség esetén az aljzatot a ragasztóanyag alapozójával át kell vonni.

Quarry tile is made by bleeding clay with materials including shale to make a coarse mixture. This is then run through a machine called an extruder, to make tiles that are very dense. The tiles are cut, then they are fired at a high temperature, which changes the composition of the clay, and creates a hard, heavy tile that is very strong. The most common shades of quarry tile are oranges and reds, although you occasionally will see grays and greens, too.
The underside of a quarry tile is usually ridged, which helps it adhere to grout. The tile's surface looks coarse because it isn't glazed. This surface helps to encourage traction, which is helpful in areas like kitchens and pathways.
Quarry tile is used as a traditional name for the clay tiles that are extruded from shale or clay. The tiles usually have properties very similar to red stoneware, and they usually measure about 6 inches square.
