A fordító "hívásmonitor"-t írt, a lektor "hívási hangerő"-re javította és (vasárnap lévén) csak engem tudott az iroda elérni, hogy tegyek köztük igazságot.

I know that on cell phones you can set the volume during conversation, but I'm not sure if this feature is also present on normal phones (however, given the current developments, it probably is)
My first hunch was that your question refers to this, even before seeing the question.
As for the options, I really don't see a connection between calling volume and "hivasmonitor"
